About Vicky Bauer RN, NCPT
Vicky Bauer Pilates Studio is located in Gilroy, CA and is dedicated to teaching the classical method of Pilates, honoring the integrity of the method of Joseph H. Pilates integrating his 6 principles; centering, breath, control, concentration, precision, and flow.
Vicky Bauer is a classically trained, 3rd generation Pilates instructor. Her background as a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Telemetry and a ballet teacher for 35 years gives Vicky the breadth of knowledge and experience that allows her to understand the special needs of both seniors and young dancers. Vicky completed her comprehensive Pilates training and certification through Power Pilates, training under 2nd generation teacher Allison Gonzalez. She is also licensed through the National Certified Pilates program (NCPT).
Vicky is passionate about Pilates and firmly believes in the motto “Always a Student”. She pursues this passion by traveling worldwide to study with renowned classical Pilates instructors. In addition to her nursing degree from Mt. San Antonio College, Vicky has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts and Dance from California State University Fullerton and is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique.
