My classical Pilates classes promote a systematic, integrative approach to pilates training integrating the 6 principles;
centering, breath, control, concentration, precision, and flow.
The small class size allows for more personalized training for every skill level.

PRIVATE: One on one sessions in a quiet and personalized environment. Learn more.
SEMI-PRIVATE SESSIONS: Two people can share a session and reduce the cost.  Learn more.
SMALL GROUP CLASS: Three people share the equipment and instruction. Mat classes are also available.

What is Pilates and how can it help me?

The practice of Pilates began in the early 20th century in Germany by Joseph Pilates after which the practice is named.  It is a controlled, low-impact exercise routine that offers plenty of benefits to your body, no matter your fitness background. It can help with posture and core training as well as body alignment and flexibility of the joints and muscles. It can be done as part of mat work or on specialized equipment. The main focus is on slow, precise  movement and breath control. There are two types of exercises, mat and 'reformer'. The reformer is  a sliding platform with a stationary foot bar, springs, and pulleys that provide resistance as you move.
